What the NSW Selective test involves
The NSW Selective High School Placement Test is sat on a computer in Year 6 for Year 7 entry to a government selective high school. It has four timed sections in a single sitting — Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing — with no calculator or dictionary allowed.

Sat on a computer at a test centre. No calculator and no dictionary. Working out is done on paper with a 2B pencil.
